FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS!!!

What can I expect from therapy?

Therapy sessions are specifically designed with YOU in mind, tailored to meet your unique needs and circumstances. You can expect us to work collaboratively together, fostering an open dialogue to identify issues that are prevalent in your life that you would like to explore and work through in a constructive manner. Therapy is a supportive space for ALL people to feel safe, seen, valued, and understood, allowing for personal growth and healing to occur at your own pace.

How often are therapy sessions and how long do they last?

The overall goal is to meet with each individual once a week for a duration of 45 to 60 minutes. During our sessions, we will collaborate closely to determine an appropriate level of care tailored specifically to your needs, as well as to identify what is therapeutically necessary for YOU to achieve your personal goals.

Do you offer evening/weekend sessions?

Typically, we do not take clients for appointments scheduled past 7:00 PM (CST). However, because we do not maintain set weekend hours, we can offer Saturday sessions on a case-by-case basis depending on availability and individual needs.

Do you complete FMLA/LOA or short-term disability paperwork?

We understand that crises and personal challenges can arise unexpectedly, and they can be particularly difficult to navigate while managing a full-time job. To support you during these times, we offer assistance with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Leave of Absence (LOA) paperwork, carefully considering your specific diagnosis, treatment plan, and individual needs. It is important to note that this particular service incurs a separate fee from our standard individual or family therapy sessions due to the additional time and attention it requires. We kindly ask that you allow 3-5 business days for us to complete and process all necessary forms efficiently.

Can you provide my child with an absence letter if they have to miss part of their school day?

Absolutely!! If your child's sessions conflict with their school classes, we will give you an excuse letter on our company letterhead.

Do you accept my insurance?

Yes, we have recently partnered with Headway and are in-network with Quest Behavioral, Aetna, Cigna, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts (in Texas). We are continuously looking to expand our in-network options with Headway. Please contact us directly to determine if we are in-network with your insurance provider.

Do you help uninsured people? If yes, what is the cost?

Our cash rate for individual therapy sessions is up to $150, while family therapy sessions are priced at $175. Additionally, we provide skills training sessions specifically designed for adolescents at a rate of $75. To ensure that therapy remains accessible and affordable for all, we also offer sliding scale fees based on the unique needs and circumstances of each individual or family. We strive to accommodate everyone seeking support.
