How I can help

Services are tailored to individuals who are ready to heal from generational trauma, post-traumatic stress, and family dysfunction.

Helping you build healthier boundaries, overcome people-pleasing, and improve impulsivity, mood disorders, and suicidal ideation.

I utilize a client-centered approach that prioritizes YOU!

I integrate techniques like mindfulness to help you gain insight and awareness into what happened to you—not to focus on what’s “wrong” with you.

Getting personal: who am i outside of therapy?

I was born and raised in Illinois. I have very nostalgic memories of summer days in Chicago, running barefoot, drinking from the water hoses, and playing in the fire hydrants. I often think about the Bud Buliken Parades, candy stores, and playing baseball in the neighborhood fields.

I earned my bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2015 (Go Fighting Illini). I returned to school for my Master's in Social Work in 2017 after working in crisis management for six years. I initially aimed to become a Civil Rights Attorney, but after completing my master’s thesis on the importance of same-race therapeutic relationships, I shifted my focus to community work. I moved to Texas in 2019 and became a therapist in 2021.

Outside of therapy, I am very outgoing and active. I enjoy weightlifting, hiking, spending time with family, and cuddling with my fur baby. I love all things music, especially neo-soul, jazz, R&B, and blues.

I enjoy reading autobiographies, dancing, traveling, eating food, taking care of plants, practicing yoga, and all things fashion. I strongly believe in self-care, both for myself and in my work. Taking care of ourselves is important before we can help others.

You are not supposed to have it all figured out. The beauty of life is watching yourself grow into someone you never imagined you’d become.”
